昨年見ることの出来て、ものすごかった《ブラックバード》と《るつぼ》が受賞したのでよかったです。その《ブラックバード》は早速NYでも公演となりますが、演出は巨匠ペーター・シュタイン氏ではなく、ジョー・マンテロ。ロジャー・アラムもジョーディ・メイも出演する訳もなく、ジェフ・ダニエルズです。

独占受賞したスティーヴン・ソンドハイム＆ジェイムズ・ラパインのミュージカル《ジョージの恋人》新演出はウェストエンドは公演終了し、ブロードウェイに行ってしまうので、見られず残念でした。《キャバレー》新演出はなんとかしたいです。ジェイムズ・ドライファスのMCなんで...。《スパマロット》は無冠で残念でしたが、現在はサイモン・ラッセル・ビールが出てるので、それも彼が出てるうちになんとか見なくては...。
