MICHAEL KIDD (1915-2008)

訃報　ブロードウェイ・ミュージカルの振付師・演出家マイケル・キッド氏が23日に癌のため92歳でお亡くなりになりました。ご冥福をお祈りします。トニー賞振付賞受賞の《ガイズ＆ドールズ》とその映画化『野郎どもと女たち』や、ミュージカル映画『バンドワゴン』『いつも上天気』『スター！』『ハロー・ドーリー!』といった作品を手掛けて、97年にアカデミー賞名誉賞を受賞しました(オスカーに振付賞ってないので)。最後の仕事は1993年のバーナデット・ピーターズ＆マーティン・ショート共演の《グッバイ・ガール》でした...。
