すっかり遅くなりましたが、トニー賞の受賞一覧。《ボーイング・ボーイング》のマーク・ライランスが受賞したのがなにより。リヴァイヴァル・ミュージカルで《南太平洋》が独占しそうで演技賞は《ジプシー》の方に行くという結果。新作は案の定《In The Heights》と《Passing Strange》が二分しましたが、おとぼけなダークホース《ザナドゥ》はこの面子を前には無理でした。前作の成功で図に乗って上演してしまった《ヤング・フランケンシュタイン》と《クライ・ベイビー》は無惨なこととなり、後者は22日にクローズ。名曲の嵐の《南太平洋》は映画版は凡庸でしたが、バートレット・シャーの手にかかったらいい感じに仕上がりそうで、見てみたいもんです。ロンドン公演が決まったらだけど...。で、《ザナドゥ》はロンドンの上演が決まったので、もし初演キャストがそちらでもやるならそっちで見たいです...。
TV放映は今年はNHK-BSで29日なので、その時に、舞台進行とプレゼンター、パフォーマンスのことを付け加えて書くことに...。
